From the job site to the kitchen

Four stops, from the first orders in the garage to today's locations.

  1. Stop 1 · Georgia

    Where it all began

About eight years ago, Nerio Morales spent his days in construction and as a pastor in his community in Georgia. A Venezuelan immigrant who has lived in the United States with his family for decades, he always had one dream: to share the real flavor of his homeland with the people around him.

  2. Stop 2 · The garage

    Corn, seasoning and a garage

At 60, he decided to build something different. Not with bricks, but with corn, seasoning and a lot of dedication. He started in the garage of his house, making corn empanadas with his family's recipe and a special seasoning that is still a secret.

  3. Stop 3 · The neighborhood

The flavor that won everyone over

It caught on right away. Word about the empanadas spread, demand kept growing, and the small home kitchen turned into a real business.

  4. Stop 4 · Today

    Much more than empanadas

Nerio didn't stop there. The menu grew to dozens of Latin dishes, all still made in-house, with the same quality control. Today Quesito's Express has locations in Georgia and Florida, and more are on the way.
